I just finished reading the book. Jerry was my Gus. He had throat cancer. On July 30th 2022 he went to take a nap and never woke up. We fell in love fast. We loved hard. We broke up. We faught. We couldn't say goodbye. We got back together. We never stopped loving each other. We had our 2nd chance to get it right. 5 months later he was gone. I have been blessed with love again. Jerry brought Jesse to me exactly a year after he passed. He didn't want me to be alone. No one ever loved me as deeply as Jerry did. He is always in my heart ❤️.
