Do you remember?

Do you remember
when the world was full of wonder
and magic ruled the earth?
Do you remember
when the whisper of wind in the branches
breathed fairy voices in your ear?
Do you remember
how the shadows on the wall
moved and danced in the moonlight
beckoning you to Wonderland?
Do you remember
when the world was full of possibilities
you only had to step out your door
to step into Adventure?
Do you remember being free
to believe in fairies?
Do you remember the magic?
And do you remember
when you woke up one morning
and it was gone?
The world was somehow smaller
and emptier
and colder...
no fairies, no elves
no enchanted kingdoms...
just cold hard reality
and the 'adult' world.
Well,
let me tell you something...
We may grow old and weary
our minds may forget the key
to unlock the door to Wonder
but the Key is always there...
If you close your eyes
and listen
the magic is still there...
Magic never dies unless we kill it.
