February Full Moon: The Snow Moon
February’s 2021 Full Moon is February 27th.
I call February’s full moon the Snow Moon because the heaviest snowfall can occur in this month. I would certainly say that's so this year.
Other names are: Quickening Moon, Hunger Moon, Snow Moon, Starving Moon, Moon of Ice, Storm Moon, Rowan Moon.
The Snow Moon speaks of making small changes that will make a difference down the road, spirituality, planting seeds within us that will grow to fruition in the spring, personal energy that increases as Mother Nature’s energy begins to rise in preparation for spring, Venture outdoors to avail you of this energy & feel the shift in Nature. Yes, it’s still winter, but even the birds are more vocal now and the days will become longer so that we can set our plans in motion.
